Arwilda Quattlebaum McCollum, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2015 at her home in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born November 11, 1943. Arwilda cherished her husband, Theodore McCollum, Sr. whom she was married to for 51 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brooks and Pauline Quattlebaum.

In addition to her husband, she was a devoted and loving mother of three children, Paula McCollum and Theodore R. (Myra) McCollum, Jr. both of Winston-Salem, NC and Gregory D. (Ruth) McCollum of Chicago, IL; Arwilda truly loved her grandchildren, Zyon, Omni, Otello, and Marla McCollum; her aunt, Doris H. Williams; and countless but special in-laws, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, May 4, 2015 at New Birth Worship Center, 1033 New Birth Drive East Bend, NC 27018 with Reverend Dr. James L.E. Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Monday at the Church.
