Arvanetes Smith Jordan was the daughter of Willie Smith, Sr. and Flora Smith.
She was born December 6,1964 in Winston Salem NC. She gained her heavenly wings to be with the lord on February 19, 2024.
She received her academic education in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System where she graduated high school at Parkland High School. She was employed at Atrium Windows & Doors until she decided to become a stay at home mom. In her earlier life she became a member of Union Baptist Church in Winston-Salem where she attended the remainder of her Adult life.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She also enjoyed being a number 1 supporter at her grandchildren's extracurricular activities and LOVED dancing!
She was very loved and will be forever missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Flora Smith; father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lee and Ella Jordan; brother, Willie Smith, Jr.; sister, Karen Dendy; and sister-in-law, Veronica Jordan.
Netra leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Mr. Randy Jordan of the home; two sons, Octavius (Shanita) Jordan of Winston-Salem, NC, and Rashawn Jordan of Raleigh, NC; one daughter, Ashley Jordan of Winston-Salem NC; her father, Willie Smith, Sr of Winston-Salem, NC; seven grandchildren, Elijah, Essence, Malaya, Samiyah, Ah'mara, Jarrion, and Tayvn; four sisters, Florenia Smith, Mina (Edwin) Johnson, Gila Tillery, and Cynthia Thompson; one sister-in-law, Telfer Smith; two brothers-in-law, Joe (Net) Jordan and Robert Jordan; two sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Jeff) Huffman and Yvonne Jordan; one god son, Jed Bines; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Friday, March 1, 2024 at Union Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Friday at the Church.
