Mr. Arthur Earlie Estes passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 18, 1950 in Winston-Salem, NC to Earlie and Mary Ruth Wilson.
Arthur graduated from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools and was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Arthur was described by those who knew him as being quiet, kind, loving, and a friend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maggie Hairston Estes; two half-sisters, Sadie Reavis and Hester Morrison; and two brothers, Alvin Wilson and Anthony Estes.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted sister, Linda Estes-Richardson (Marion); a half-sister, Catherine Allen; two brothers, Darryl and David Wilson; one aunt, Kester Thompson; a host of nieces, nephews, and loving and devoted cousins; his loving and devoted church family, St. Andrews United Methodist Church and Saints Home United Methodist Church; loving and devoted pastor and wife, Reverend Ronnie Roseboro and Susan Roseboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, August 20, 2015 at St. Andrews United Methodist Church with Reverend Ronnie Roseboro officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Thursday at the Church.
