Mrs. Arrie N. Wright was called home June 15, 2008 after a brief illness.

Having been an educator for more than sixty years, Mrs. Wright was associated with many organizations, her most precious being Iota Phi Lambda Sorority.

She was preceded in death by eight of her nine siblings.

Arrie leaves to cherish her memory a son, Vichu (Dolores); three grandchildren, KaShanta (Calvin) Clemmons, Brian (Jackie) Nickerson, and Jennifer (Fred) Fisher; six great-grandchildren; a devoted and loving sister, Mrs. Mattie Caldwell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3pm Friday, June 20, 2008 from the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 2pm until 3pm on Friday at the Church.

Arrie will be missed by all who knew her.
