Armidee Franklin Mack was born September 13, 1956 in Winston-Salem, NC to Peter and Thelma Marie Mack. He was a 1974 graduate of West Forsyth Senior High School. While there he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. He furthered his studies at Livingston University and Winston-Salem State University. He was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Shaw University and he received a Master's in Information Systems Technology from South University. He was a musician at heart and played the clarinet when in college. He also played in the Winston-Salem State University Marching Band. He was a member of the band, Raw Meat and Phonic Pleasure.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Jennifer Chaskley-Mack; children, Deirdre Caroline-Marie Mack, Armidee Towayne Lampkin, and Thelma Geneva-Marie Mack; a host of grandchildren; one aunt, Gertie Mack; one uncle, James (Dollye) Mack; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Sam Hickerson officiating and Reverend Dwight L. Hash eulogist. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Tuesday at the Church.
