Winston-Salem, NC-Ardran Hampton, 53 departed this life on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 following an extended illness. She was born March 5, 1956 in Winston-Salem, NC to Raymond and Ethel Hampton. Ardran was educated in the local schools and was a graduate of Parkland High School. She was an employee of Forsyth Medical Center for 34 years and was supervisor in the Dietary Department. She was a faithful member of St. John Baptist Church where she served in different ministries.
Forever cherishing her memories are her dearly beloved mother, Ethel Hampton of the home; three sisters, Geraldine Gist of Hawaii, Queen E. Fant (Roosevelt) of Winston-Salem, NC, and Evelyn Walker of Charlotte, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, May 9, 2009 from the St. John Baptist Church, 1200 Cleveland Ave. Winston-Salem, NC 27101 with Pastor Leonard Lewis officiating. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2pm on Saturday at the Church.
