Archie Lee Martin was born on August 11, 1957 and was raised in Winston Salem, NC. He departed this earthly life on June 9, 2026 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Martin; his children, Angela Rucker and Sylvia Hinton; his grandchildren, DeMarcus Truesdale, Naja Kelley and Micah Truesdale; great grandchildren, Aniya Triplin, Jaxxon Kelley, Ja’liya Kelley, Armonte’ Truesdale, and Moriah Williams; his sister, Shelia Astrop; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Friday at the Chapel.
