Obituary
Mr. Archie D. Joiner, Jr., 51, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 at his residence unexpectedly. He was born on July 24, 1956, the son of the late Archie Sr. and Gertrude Joiner. He was a graduate of the DC Public School System. Archie recently moved to Winston-Salem, NC and was a member of the Goler Memorial AME Zion Church. He was an avid entrepreneur and a retired officer of the Prince George's County, MD Police Department.
Archie leaves to mourn a son, Archie, III; a devoted twin sister, Patricia of Washington, DC; three additional sisters, Antoinette of Winston-Salem, NC, Sandra Hemby (Ken) of Glenn Dale, MD and Vivian of Winston-Salem, NC; one brother, Arthur (Vera) of Inez, KY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing and celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Goler Memorial AME Zion Church.
