Anthony Tyrone "Ty" Williams, 64, of Winston Salem passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Winston Salem to Booker T "BT" Williams and the late Barbara Williams.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and his brother, Bobby Williams.

Surviving are his children, two daughters, Tammara (Isidro) Garcia, and Telesia (Victorino) Garcia; three grandchildren, Bryanna García, Lyrianna García, and Victorino Garcia, Jr.; two sisters, Marilyn Williams and Carolyn McLaurin; two uncles, Joseph (Alberta) Harvey and Aldeen Harvey; one aunt, Lee Hilda Moore; seven nieces and nephews, Rodericus Williams, I'rnina Williams, La' Quan McLaurin, Kenneth Rutledge, Bianca Rice, Keene Mock, and Taylia Donovan.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Thursday at the Chapel.

The family would like to extend very special thanks to the staff at Novant Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care given to Mr. Williams.
