Anthony Robert Morrison, Jr., 24, affectionately known by his family and friends as "AJ", departed this life on July 20, 2017. AJ was born on January 20, 1993 to Anthony and Cathie Morrison, Sr. in Winston-Salem, NC. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tyrone P. Galloway, Sr.

He leaves to cherish, his parents Anthony and Cathie Morrison, Sr.; two brothers, Joshua Morrison of Sedalia, NC and Antoine Jackson (United States Navy) Norfolk, VA; one sister, Aneisha Morrison of Charlotte, NC; paternal grandparents, Robert Lee and Althene Morrison of Gibsonville, NC; maternal grandmother, Ann Cole Galloway; three uncles, Tyrone Galloway, Jr., Antonio Morrison of Gibsonville, NC and Reginald Hill (Maridela) of Greensboro, NC; two aunts, Michelle Galloway Williams (Charles Bradley) of Abita Springs, LA and Michelle Morrison Williamson (Fred) of Gibsonville, NC; one niece, Savannah Johnson; one nephew, Bryson Morrison both of Burlington ,NC; Godparents, Rodney and Cassandra Lane; his "high school sweetheart," Kristin Feemster; his "best friend," Douglas Middleton of the New York Jets; special family friends, Captain NaToshia James Miles (Darryle), Ret. Sergeant Timothy James (Donnie), and Douglas and Angela Middleton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 1800 N. Liberty St. Winston-Salem, NC 27105 with Pastor Terrance Teron Evans officiating.  Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park, 4039 S. Church St. Burlington, NC 27215.  The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Thursday at the Church.
