Our beloved, Anthony Wilburn Burnett, 50, was born December 8, 1964 and departed to be with the Lord on May 18, 2015 at 4:57pm. Anthony was a residence of 1406 Harrison Ave. W-S, NC and he grew up in the Happy Hill Garden Community of Winston-Salem, NC. Anthony was a jack of all trades, but his latest occupations were landscaping and a CNA.

Anthony is now in heaven with his mother, Irene Poteat; father, Robert Burnett "Robert Myers"; and his brother, Wayne.

He is survived by six children, Taneisha Gist, Secoria DuBose, William Burnett, Faith Powell, Amod Burnett, and Anthony Burnett, Jr.; grandson, Jermih DuBose; four brothers, Jerry (Vanda) Burnett, George Burnett, Greg Burnett, and his bestfriend, Kevin Jackson; very special friends, Shayla Crosby, JoAnn Goetz, and Jeff Allen; the cousins of the Burnett, Myers, Jackson, and Sandsbury families; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Anthony's kind deeds and awesome spirit will never be forgotten.

Services will be held at 12noon Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Norman Carter officiating.
