Mrs. Annie Morrison Leach, daughter of James McClelland and Zora Morison, was born May 17, 1908 in Iredell County. She departed this life on October 27, 2008 at Golden Lamb Rest Home.

She attended the local school system in Iredell County, and worked for Belk's for more than 40 years. She attended Logan Presbyterian Church where she was an active member of the choir.

She was married to Mr. Raymond Leach who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leonard, William, and Herbert Morrison; and a sister, Reba Patterson.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life to two brothers, Percy Morrison of Winston-Salem, NC and Clyde (Dorothy) Houpe of Statesville, NC; a sister-in-law, Claudia Morrison of Southfield, Mich.; four nephews, Ricky Houpe, Gary (Elnora) Holloway, McDaniel Holloway, Jr., and Raymond (Edie) Holloway; 10 great nieces, nephews, with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, October 31, 2008 at Grace Presbyterian Church with Pastor Samuel Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 11 am Friday at the church.
