Mrs. Anna Sales, 84 of 3509 Dunbarton Drive passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 at her home surrounded by family. She was born October 2, 1925 in Clinton, SC the eldest child of Will and Mamie Cromer.
She was a charter member of Galilee Baptist Church serving as an honorary deaconess and many other capacities during the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Haywood Sales; and two brothers, James and Willie Cromer.
Left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Bettie Sales of Charlotte, NC and Min. Brenda Sales; two sons, Haywood (Betty) Sales, Jr. and Dennis (Linda) Sales; two sisters, Mamie Flowers and Yvonne (Douglas) Conway of Clinton, SC; twelve grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four special friends, William Searcy of Detroit, MI, Mary (Michael) Friday, Geraldine Crump, and Carolyn Banger; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday, March 1, 2010 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Nathan E. Scovens officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from Noon until 1pm on Monday at the Church.
