Obituary
In the still of the morning of July 7, 2015, God reached down and lovingly folded our mother in his arms and carried her home.
Angie Neal Brown was born in Winston-Salem, NC on July 3, 1935 to Edward and Naomi Neal.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. In 1950, Angie was united in marriage to Truitt M. Brown. From this union four children were born.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Truitt Delano Brown; sister, Millicent Brownly; and her brother, Edward Neal.
Cherishing her memory are her daughter, Sharon Brown Watford (Joseph) of Durham, NC; her sons, Terry Shawn Brown of Pikesville, MD and Juan Edwin Brown (Bonnie) Of Arlington, VA; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
A graveside service celebrating her life will be held at 10:30am Monday, July 13, 2015 in Evergreen Cemetery, 2124 New Walkertown Rd. W-S, NC with Reverend Nelson McCall officiating. There will be no public viewing of Mrs. Brown.
