Angella Brown departed this life at 4:00 am July 29, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Facility.
Angella was born on June 10, 1942 to Lewis and Rosa Lee Webster. Angella worked for the Department of Finance in NYC worked for 36 years and retired to Winston-Salem, NC to be with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her son, Amory` Brown; daughter, Alicia Brown; two sisters, Madeline Glavin and Susan Grecian; cousin, Deborah Streeter; four grandchildren, Amory` Brown II, Askia Brown, Amia Brown and Avery Brown; one great-grandchild, Amerie Brown; her companion for over 20 years James Howard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.
Funeral mass will be held at 11am Thursday, August 4, 2011 at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Heiney presiding. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11am on Thursday at the Church.
