Obituary
Andrew R. Thompson, 95 passed away December 30, 2010. He was born June 15, 1915 in Rock Hill, SC and was a member of Carver Road Christian Church. "Mr. Andrew" retired from Reynolds Tobacco. He was a gardener, great cook, sports fan, and loved people.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Corine C. Thompson; mother, Elvira R. Robinson; step-father, Reverend Charlie Robinson; and sister, Sadie R. Spinks.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda T. (James) Totten of Walkertown, NC and Betty Thompson Morton of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, Marva Thompson of Atlanta, GA and Malik Razzak of Walkertown, NC; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; a special daughter, Vernestine Bynum; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11am Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery.
