Mrs. Andrea Dianna Thomas, also known as "Diane", 62, of 321 Azalea Terrace passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at her residence.  She was a native of Winston-Salem and was a faithful member of Alpha & Omega Church of Faith where she was very passionate about working for the Lord and served on several difference auxiliaries.  She attended the WSFCS and was employed as a material/machine handler for many years at Burlington Industries and Sara Lee.

Ms. Thomas was preceded in death by her dear mother and father, Hazel Haywood Thomas and Dorothy May Hampton; along with her caring sister, Maggie T. Jackson.

She is survived by one devoted daughter, Tameka (Ronald) Walker of W-S, NC; one loving son, Benny Charles Thomas of Sacramento, CA; two grandchildren that were the love of her life, Christina and Christopher Walker both of W-S, NC; four sisters and one brother, Delores T. Mock, Catherine T. Wharton, Mae T. White, Jacqueline D. Thomas all of W-S, NC, and Haywood L. Thomas of Newton, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop John W. Huntley officiating.  Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.

The family will meet with friends following the services at Alpha & Omega Church of Faith, 1445 Gray Ave. W-S, NC 27101.
