In Loving Memory of Andre Major Taylor

Baby Andre Taylor, better known as "Major", gained his warrior wings on October 12, 2024.  Major was a handsome, resilient warrior who fought a mighty fight for 25 months of his 27 month earthly life.  Though Major's time was brief, his spirited soul was contagious to everyone who encountered him.

Major was born on June 29, 2022 to Andrea Foster and Anthony Taylor both of Winston-Salem, NC.

Major was preceded in death by his uncle, Stephan McMillian, Sr.; and cousin, Le-Ana McMillian.

Major is survived by both of his parents, along with his siblings, Kingston Foster, Brooklyn Washington, Alasia Taylor, Aunesti Taylor, and Anthony Taylor, Jr.  He also leaves to cherish his maternal grandparents, Michelle McMillian Foster and Andre (Lisa) Foster; his paternal grandparents, Priscilla Taylor and Ronald Fowler; his aunts, uncles, cousins, and the care teams at Brenner's Children Hospital and Bayada Homecare.

Although Major's time with us was short, his spirit will live and remain in our hearts forever.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Monday, October 28, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.

Rest in peace, our beloved Major.  You are loved beyond measure and we will truly miss you.
