Obituary
Anderson Bennett Rush, also known as "RUSH" transitioned from this earthly place on February 24, 2015. Rush was born on May 7, 1943 to the late Sidney Rush, Sr. and Hazel Watkins Rush in Norwood, NC.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Hammond Rush; daughters, Benita Barber, April Rush Carpenter (Andre'), and Mia Flora; sons, Carlos E. Rush (LaTasha) and Dion Miller; 10 grandchildren; 2 sisters and 1 brother; his former wife and mother of his children, Rolanda Barber Rush; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday, March 2, 2015 at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Reverend Waymon Monroe officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Monday at the Church.
