In Loving Memory of Mother Amanda Lee Brown Williford

Surrounded by her large and loving family, Amanda Lee Brown Williford, a faithful servant of Christ, peacefully entered God's eternal embrace on November 10, 2023. Mother Amanda Williford was born on March 23, 1929, to the late Pru Ellis and Eloise Brown in Anderson, SC, and peacefully passed away at the blessed age of 94.

Mother Amanda Williford was a devoted member of St. Peter's World Outreach Center and attended regularly until her health began to decline.  Over her lifetime, she was also a faithful member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church, Zion Hill Baptist Church, and Mars Hill Baptist Church.  Her commitment to her faith was unwavering, and her presence in each congregation left an incredible mark.

Amanda Williford was preceded in death by her former husband, Ofield Williford; daughter, Shirley Williford; grandson, Scotty Reaves; and granddaughter, Rhonda Fair Walker.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Minister Barbara Fair (Clifton), Dorsel Jackson (Michael), Phil Williford (LaVerne), Cynthia Gibson (Eugene), Johnny Williford (Beverly), Michael Williford, Ken Williford (Anna), Bobby Williford, Dwayne Williford, and Jayne Michelle Williford; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 12noon Friday, November 17, 2023 at St. Peter's World Outreach Center with Bishop J.C. Hash, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
