Ms. Alycia Aviane Polzine, 20, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007, at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Alycia was born February 16, 1987, in San Antonio TX to Anthony Polzine and Teresa Bell. Alycia was raised by her stepfather Douglas C. Martin Jr. and mother Teresa Martin. Alycia graduated from Mt. Tabor High School and attended UNC Charlotte.

In addition to her parents, Alycia is survived by several brothers and sisters, Anthony Polzine II., Chalisa Polzine, Nicholas Polzine, Jennifer Martin, Nicholas Martin, and Isaac Owens; grandparents, Darline Bell, Rupert Bell Jr. (Lorita), Sheila Stephens, Constance Martin, and Charles Martin; a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6pm until 9pm on Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel, 822 Carl Russell Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC 27101

A funeral mass will be held at 10am Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 1730 Link Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 with Father Conall McHugh officiating. A repast will be held at Old Town Recreation Center, 4550 Shattalon Drive, Winston-Salem, NC immediately following the services on Saturday.
