Alycia Miller Greene , also known as "Susie" passed away at 12:40 am, May 14, 2023. Alycia taught 25 years as a special education teacher from which she retired in 2014.

Susie leaves behind her husband of 35 years, Therman Greene Sr.; her only child, her son, Therman Greene Jr. and his, wife Destiny Greene; and two granddaughters, Elissa and Elianna Greene; her sisters, Andrea Thompson and Barbara McCollough; and brothers, Richard Miller Jr., and Terry Hemphill.

Susie was preceded in death by her father, Richard Miller; mother, Joyce Miller; sister, Karla Connally; and brother, Gordon Reid.

Alycia loved and adored her many nieces, nephews and cousins who were all special to her. Alycia was a proud WSSU alum with many family and friends, along with coworkers who enjoyed Ram football on Saturdays. Susie was a giving and caring soul and will be missed by many.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Friday at the Chapel.
