Mr. Alvis S. Ashford was born May 27, 1951 and passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012.
He leaves behind two loving daughters, Tanisha and LaToya Ashford; a brother, Willie F. Ashford Jr. (Ola); a sister, Rhonda K. Jackson (Willie); and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 4127 Northampton Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105 with Dr. Nathan Scovens officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Church.
The family will receive friends at 2039 Bethany Trace Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
