On Sunday, December 18, 2016, Allen W. Rice entered into eternal rest. Allen was born on October 18, 1957 to his loving mother Gemine Rice and Dewalter Rice of W-S, NC.

After retiring from the United States Army, Allen made his career as a high school track coach and referee for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County school system.
In addition to his father, Allen was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Rice.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his beloved wife, Regina Rice; his brothers Jay and Ricky Rice; his children, Latrece Covington-Morris, Clifton Rice, Rhonda Higgins, Larry Green, Rodrick Maxwell, Dewalt Rice, and a host of grandchildren. He will surely be remembered by many friends and family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Salisbury National Cemetery, 202 Government Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144.
