Mr. Allen Alexander Jackson, Jr., 87, passed away February 20, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital, Washington Township, NJ.

Reflections from Mr. Allen Jackson, Jr.:

I just want to say thank you. Thank You for allowing me to be in your lives, and having me be apart of yours. Thank You for loving me and letting me love you. I was a son to wonderful parents, brother to my siblings, a cousin, uncle, friend, construction worker, soldier, police officer and drug rehabilitation counselor. I am most proud of being a Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. I am only leaving you physically, but I will truly never ever leave you spiritually or emotionally because I will always be here with you. I love you all and wish that I could have spent more time with you watching you grow as people and as a family. Despite all of the trials and tribulations that we have faced having you all in my life made this a life worth living and way richer than any amount of money could ever make me. I know that you'll be sad that I'm not here right now, but find peace knowing that I am at rest and have finally completed my journey here on earth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Creola Jackson and Allen Jackson, Sr.; wife, Gene Jackson; sisters, Dorothy Doe, Vernetta Johnson, and Pearline Jackson; and his brother, Reginald Jackson.

Left to cherish precious memories are his children, Arlene Curvin, Allen Johnson, Dennis Jackson, Douglas Jackson, David Jackson, Jacquelyn Sims, and LeGrande Jackson; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Vivian Spears; brother, Tyrone Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, March 4, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
