Aline Adams Underwood was born August 1, 1927 in Bennettsville, SC to the late John Q. Adams and LuVina B. Adams.  She departed this life on May 6, 2020.

Aline, a beloved mother, was preceded in death by her son, Eddie James Underwood; daughter, Margret Johnson; and twelve siblings.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories her son, Levern Underwood; daughter, Mae Underwood (Hiawatha Warren) of W-S, NC; grandchildren, Jerome Johnson (Keyairr Brock), Aavorn Underwood (Rose Hyatt), Parris Johnson, Khalil Thomas, Decora Thomas, Gary Julous, Adrian Lindsay, LeKisha McMoore, and Kory McMoore all of W-S, NC; a host of great-grandkids; dear sisters, Julia McCrea (Loniel McCrea) and Bessie Johnson (Willie Johnson) of W-S, NC and RosaLee Adams of NY, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Monday, May 11, 2020 at Russell Funeral Home. Private services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
