Alice Mary Jane Washington, daughter of the late Ellen Washington and Peter Washington, born May 30, 1937, in Lenoir County, North Carolina, transitioned to glory on Thursday, March 4, 2010.
Mother Washington had a committed relationship with the Lord and to each ministry she served.
In 2001, Mother Washington became a loyal member of St. Peter's World Outreach Center under the leadership of Dr. and Mrs. James C. Hash, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three loving children, Elfreida Washington, of Winston-Salem, NC, Jennifer Washington, of Kernersville, NC and a son, Curtis (Shateeka) Washington, of Scranton, PA; devoted siblings; and a host of devoted other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, March 12, 2010 from St. Peter's World Outreach Center with Dr. J.C. Hash, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family visitation will be held from 12Noon until 1:00pm on Friday at the church.
