Mrs. Alice Sides Rhodes Reynolds, 94, departed this life at the Oak Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center on July 24, 2010. She was born in Winston-Salem, NC on July 14, 1916 to the late Hester Sides Youngblood and the late Will Proctor. Her parents; step-father, Frank Youngblood; and her husband, Clifton L. Reynolds all preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sister, Evelyn S. Sloan of Winston-Salem, NC; three nieces, Brenda Sloan, Alice Carter, and Lois Sloan; nephew, Louis Roger Sloan, Jr. all of Winston-Salem, NC; son-in-law, James Jones; granddaughter, Carla Jones; grandsons, Sterling Jones and Cordell Jones; one great-granddaughter, Mona Reynolds; sister-in-law, Helen Reynolds; six great-nieces; five great-nephews; fifteen great-great-nieces; ten great-great-nephews; extended family, Joseph and Gladene Adams, Tamika and Tyler Brandon, William and Andrias Brandon, Mollie Wagner and family, and Elizabeth Wright and family; other relatives, friends, and her Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church family.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James Clyburn eulogist. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Thursday at the Church.
