Ms. Alice Esther Correll Hawkins, 89, passed away March 1, 2024. She was born on January 28, 1935 in Forsyth County, NC to Vance and Beatrice Correll. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; and five sisters.

She leaves to mourn her death a daughter, Sherry Eaton; son, LeRoy Hawkins; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Monday, March 11, 2024 at Carver Road Church of Christ.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Monday at the Church.
