Obituary
Mr. Alfonso M. Robinson, 60 passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Grace Health Care. He was born October19, 1948 in Winston-Salem, NC and educated in the public school system.
Mr. Robinson was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was formerly employed by Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center and the Forsyth County Sheriff's Department. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dorothy M. Robinson; one son, Keenon Robinson; his mother, Pearlie A. Mock; one sister, Euphrobia Robinson; his grandmother, Huldie Acker; and a host many relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, February 28, 2009 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Jackson, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
