Mrs. Alberta Smith Brannon went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 21, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 24, 1951 in Stokes County to Irea Smith and Doretha Simmons Smith.
She was a Stream stress at Inderal Mills for many years until the business closed down.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Smith and James Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories her two loving daughters, Tosha Brannon Sharp (Bobby) and Tonya Brannon Gay (Robert); two devoted sisters, Dorthy Mitchell and Ruth Mangus; one brother, Carl Thomas (Arie); four granddaughters, Radricka Brannon, LaMonica Ames, Amor'e Brannon, and Lydia Williams; three grandsons, LaMonte Ames, Jr., Shawn Shore, and Tyler Shore; three great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Prak, Asante Ross, and LaMarcus Ross; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Fresh Fire Worship Center, 4306 Kernersville Rd Kernersville, NC 27284with Pastor Phillip McCloud officiating. Interment will follow in the Simmons View Chapel Cemetery, Westfield, NC. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Saturday at the Church.
