Mr. Albert Lorenzo Lyerly, Jr. 69, affectionately known as "June" was born to Albert Lorenzo Lyerly, Sr. and Ethel Glenn on January 2, 1947. He departed this earthly life on November 26, 2016 at his residence.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James Davis; two sisters, Frankie Graham and Cassandra Mints; and one great-granddaughter, Summer Francis.

Surviving are his and Cora Lyerly's children, Sharon (Lester, Sr.) Boyd, Karen (Tim) Rhodes, and Louisa (Clarence) West; grandchildren, Jermaine (Robin) Rhodes, Nicole (Donnell) Brim, Shonika Francis, Cierra West, Donetria Dearmon, Keonna Miller, and Lester Boyd, Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; a devoted lifelong friend, Marian "Skinny" Summers; special friend, Debra James Chandler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Lester Boyd officiating. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
