It is with immense poignancy that our family announces the passing of our dear loved one, Albert Johnson, on Monday, May 11, 2020, at the age of 63 years.

Albert will be affectionately remembered by his three loving daughters, Latrice Moore Dockery, Sabrina Blakney (Chris), and Karla Davis; his four siblings, Shepard Johnson (Judy), Virgie Hampton (Ralph), Sheila Miller, and Sandra Miller Evans (Walter); seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Albert was preceded in death by his mother and father, Cora and William Miller; and his brother, Robert Lee Johnson.

Albert was born March 11, 1957, in Winston Salem, NC, to Cora and William Miller. A native of Winston Salem, Albert attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System and graduated from Atkins High School. After high school, Albert joined the US Navy where he served four years. After his service, he returned home. Albert worked and served in local ministries before his departure from this earth and became a member of Ishi Temple in 2019.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Russell Funeral Home.  Private services will be held Friday, May 15, 2020 with burial following in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
