In Loving Memory

Mr. Adolphus Benjamin Haney

July 28, 1959 – September 28, 2026

Mr. Adolphus Benjamin Haney, of Winston-Salem, N.C., transitioned from this life on September 28, 2026, at his residence. He was born July 28, 1959, in New York City. He was the son of Doris Partlow and James B. Haney.

Adolphus attended North Forsyth High School and later earned his GED. Adolphus started working for Traffic Control Devices in 2007 and remained there until his passing. He enjoyed his job and didn't mind teaching his co-workers better ways of doing things.

Adolphus accepted Christ into his life in 1992 and remained with the Lord on his side, and he never looked back. Adolphus attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, but loved to visit other churches to show support. Adolphus also was a member of different organizations, including CornerCorner Ministries, 360 Ministries and Prison Ministries, all of which were his pride and joy. He loved God and his community.

He was preceded in death by his father James Haney; grandmother, Ethel Partlow; uncle, William Partlow; and many other family members and friends.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Doris Brown; son, Damon Ingram (Nevaeh) of Georgia, two sisters, Delores Partlow and Joyce Gaston of New York; two grandchildren, Damanni and Adaryen Ingram of Georgia; and a host of relatives and special friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 10, 2026 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
