Mrs. Addie Jean Walker Hubbard, affectionately known as "Nana", passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 7:20pm.

She was born in Winston-Salem, NC to Rachel Walker and Albert Smith Adkins.  Addie graduated from Atkins High School.  After graduating high school, she moved to New Jersey where she met the love of her life, Charles R. Hubbard.  They married in 1951.

She was a faithful member of St. Peters Church & World Outreach Center until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her stepdad; as well as her husband.

Although Nana and Charles did not have any natural children, she leaves to mourn an array of church members who affectionately call her "Nana"; two members that she called her daughters that she never had, Noah Ramseur-who cared for her until the very end and Charity Lewis; her next door neighbor whom she thought of as her son, Victor Coward; and a host of extended family and friends.

She definitely will be missed.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
