Obituary
Mr. Aaron Lee "Byrd" Summers was born May 13, 1972 in Winston-Salem, NC. He graduated from Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, VA in 1991.
He was a member of Center Grove AME Zion Church in Tobaccoville, NC.
Aaron went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2012.
Aaron was preceded in death by his sister, Lavetta Reddrick.
He was a loving and devoted son, father, brother, nephew, and friend.
Survivors are his mother, Aundra Glenn of Greenville, NC; father, Aaron Conrad (Catherine); two daughters, Tshauna Gantt and Adriana Johnson; sisters, Okema Ham and Tiffany Fuller (Ryan); brother, Aaron Conrad, Jr. (Tamara); aunts, Carolyn Thomas, Donna Greene (Julius), Sandra Staggers (Johnny), Kimberly Summers-Sims (Gregory), Mary Conrad, Barbara Conrad, and Adrian Speas (Allen); uncle, David Summers (Kim); three special great aunts; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Julius S. Greene officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Wednesday at the Chapel.
