The world lost a true
gem on
Tuesday, December 27, 2005
when God called one of his own home for a much needed rest. Ruby
Evelyn Cooper, daughter of the late Mr. Albert and Mrs.
Juanita Singletary Cooper, was born May 18, 1933 in Florence
County, SC. Ruby was the wife of the late Richard Brown, Jr.
Ruby was a lifelong member of Mount Claire Baptist Church of
Florence County, SC. She relocated to
Winston-Salem
,
NC
in 1991 to spend her remaining years.
She leaves to cherish
her wonderful memory; one son, Charles Gregory, Sr. (Carolyn);
three loving grandchildren, Wyomie Marie (James), Charles
Gregory, Jr. and Timothy Lemount (Chinessa); seven great
grandchildren, Antwonya, Brittany, Cortillia, Jamesha,
Timothy, Jr., Kayanna and James, III; two faithful sisters,
Mrs. Corine Washington of Lake City, SC and Mrs. Shirley Smith
of Lynchburg, SC; one concerned brother, Mr. Levern Cooper of
Lake City, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends.
A service of remembrance
will be held from
5 pm
until
6 pm
Thursday, December 29, 2005
at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
