Millicent Costella Neal Brownley 

Millicent Costella Neal Brownley, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at the Lewis Gale Medical Center, Salem, Va. She was born September 13, 1929 in Winston-Salem, NC the daughter of Edwin H. Neal and Naomi Page Neal. She was educated in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and was a graduate of Atkins High School, Class of 1957. She lived in New Jersey for a short while, and then moved to Virginia in the early 1950’s.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Clote Damita Brownley; a brother, Edwin Neal, Jr. and her husband, Charles M. Brownley.
Survivors include four daughters, Guinevere Wright (Lonnie) of New Jersey, Galoris Brownley of Mathews, Va. Helga Brownley of Providence, Rhode Island, and Tara Anderson of Los Angeles, Ca.; five sons, Michael Neal of Winston-Salem, Charles Brownley of Gloucester, Virginia, Terence Brownley (Phyllis) of Sewell, NJ, Pelias Brownley of Roanoke, Va. and Travis Brownley (Delorise) of Sutherland, Va.; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Angie Marlene Brown of Winston-Salem, NC; a very devoted, caring friend, Kathy Ferguson of Gloucester Va.; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from Noon until 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
