Mrs. Jessie Mae Sharp Anderson
Mrs. Jessie Mae Sharp Anderson , of 1045 Brookhill Park Drive of Rural Hall, NC went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at 3:15 AM. Her life began on October 9, 1933 when she was born to Wilbur and Ineze Sharp. She was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist church where she served on the usher board until her health failed. You could always catch Jessie with a song in her heart and a smile on her face, for she surely loved the Lord. She had a gentle and kind spirit, but spoke few words. She was a devoted mother to her children and a wonderful sister to her siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one child; and her husband, Charlie Greene Anderson. She leaves to cherish her memories here on earth four children, Alfonzo (Linda) Anderson of Houston, TX, Priscilla (Hashim) Razzak, Phyllis (Veron) Price, and Pamela Anderson Bennett all of Winston-Salem, NC; three sisters, Dorothy Sharp, Gerldine Lemmons, and Louise (Willie) Johnson all of Winston-Salem, NC; four brothers, Wilbur (Nealie) Sharp, Jr., Samuel Sharp, and Jerry (Cynthia) Sharp all of Winston-Salem, NC and Jay B. (Patty) Sharp of Colombia, OH; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Sharp of Winston-Salem, NC and Rozella (Hurbet) Mitchell of Kings Mountain, NC; seven grandchildren, Hashim, Rashidah, and Khadijah Razzak, Mario Bennett, and Chance, Stephanie, and Brandy Anderson; four great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will surely be missed. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 2 pm from the Chapel of Russell Funeral Home with the Evangelist Cynthia Sharp officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1 pm until 2 pm on Thursday at the Chapel.(RUSSELL)
