Mrs. Mildred Richardson Shouse

Mrs. Mildred Richardson Shouse was born November 11, 1915 to John and Lucritia Richardson in Nash County, NC. She passed away Monday, December 19, 2005.
Mrs. Shouse spent her childhood years and educational background in Nash County after which she moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 1935. She was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, since 1935 where she was a member of the Flower Club, Sarah Group, and Sunday School. She was previously employed with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, and by Talton Photography Studio.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Shouse.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Durham; three grandchildren, William Bates, Jackie Bates, and Paul Durham, Jr.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, and devoted friends.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 11:30 am until Noon Thursday at the church
