Mrs.  Elizabeth Dover Lindsay

Mrs. Elizabeth Dover Lindsay, 88 passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Silas Creek Manor. She was born to Luella and Virgil Dover in Winston-Salem , NC on February 21, 1917 .
She was a faithful member of Mount Zion Baptist Church until her health declined. She attended the Winston-Salem Public Schools and retired from Export Leaf Tobacco Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben Lindsay Sr.; two sisters, Corrine Doub and Alice Hearn; four brothers, Hollins, Carvers, Cecil, and Ernest Dover; and one grandson, Reginald Lindsay.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her loving and devoted children, one son, Ben Lindsay Jr.; four daughters, Evelyn McIntyre, Gwendolyn Lindsay, Priscilla Rawlinson all of Winston-Salem, NC, Angela (Robert) Tingle of Philadelphia, PA; eight grandchildren, Carolyn (Ronnie) Ewing, Cynthia Lindsay, Cyrena (Kelvin) Burton, Tyrone Lindsay, Tracy Montgomery of Philadelphia, PA, Keshea Montgomery of Greensboro, NC, Carrenthia Lindsay, and Tia Rawlinson; seven great- grandchildren, one great, great-grand; one brother-in-law, Horace Hearn of Detroit, MI; one sister-in-law, Juanita Dover of Winston-Salem, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends; two devoted friends, Ellen Stewart and Carl Perry.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Family visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
