Mrs. Ethel Lillie Deberry

Mrs. Ethel Lillie Deberry, 57, of 424 Bacon street departed this life on Thursday, October 13, 2005 unexpectedly. She was a native of Anson County , NC , born on June 15, 1948, the daughter of Robert Dell Flowers and Daisy Harris Flowers. She was a member of Mercy Seat Holiness Church and an employee of Forsyth Medical Center as a supervisor for over 25 years in the dietary department, later she moved to the catering department where she remained until her death.

She loved cooking, catering, cooking family dinners and was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all.

Survivors include one daughter, Tabitha Flowers; four grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Reed and Ola Mae Deberry all of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, James (Bessie) Deberry and Lonnie (Dorothy) Deberry both of Greensboro, NC; a devoted cousin, Lillie (Thomas) Burch of Greensboro, NC; one brother-in-law, William Little of Winston-Salem, NC; a sister-in-law, Gloria Deberry of Greensboro, NC.; a devoted friend, Dorothy (Willie) Jones of Winston-Salem, NC; other relatives and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Mercy Seat Holiness Church with Bishop T.R. Rice, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery . Family visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
