Mr. Earl Dunbar Collins, Jr., 52, resided at 1234 E. 24th Street, Winston-Salem, NC. He entered into eternity on Saturday, December 10, 2005 after a brief period of illness at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Collins was born May 11, 1953 to Earl D. Collins, Sr. and Hazel McClain in Winston-Salem, NC.
His father Earl D. Collins, Sr. and brother Carl Collins preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his mother, Hazel Montrose of Detroit, Mich.; three sisters, Anna Reid of Winston-Salem, NC, Joan Haywood, and Rena Morris both of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, William (Joanette) McClain of Winston-Salem, NC and Brent Morris of Detroit Mich.; eight nieces, Princess, Angie (Terry), Robin (Gerald), Jackqulyn, Johnnetta, Nadja, Lanique, and Brittney; five nephews, Carlos, Johnnie, Robert, Kenneth, and Deshawn; six great nieces, eight great nephews; two aunts, Alma Jean Ellis and Florence Williams both of Winston-Salem, NC; a devoted cousin, Concho (Ann) Griffin; a devoted friend and mother in the spirit, Mrs. Betsy Sawyer; two devoted friends, Chris Nettles and Kelly Gray; and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Family visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. |
